1914-69:  1/1 to 12/31 (Grace period to 2/28 or 2/29 permanently added 1941)

Monthly Staggered Registration began 1/1/1970, expire "JAN 71" to "JUN 71",

according to owner's surname initial.  New registrations assigned same way.

1969 plates remained valid until new month, up to 6/30/1970, based on last

digit of 1969 plate:  1-2 2/28/1970, 3-4 3/31/1970, 5-6 4/30/1970,

7-8 5/30/1970, 9-0 6/30/1970.

Expanded 1986, expire "JAN 87" to "OCT 87", according to owner's surname

initial.  New registrations since assigned same way.

Semi-monthly registration began January 2002, expire "10-31 02".

Weekly registration began January 2008, expire "02-07 09".  Expirations

are 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th of all months except January and 12/28.

Weeks assigned according to complex alphabetical schedule of surnames.
